The Wim Hof Method®
Here is how I introduce it to people who haven't encountered it before.
The Wim Hof Method® is a practice developed by Wim Hof — also known as The Iceman — built on three core pillars: breathing exercises, cold exposure, and mindset training. Together, these pillars are designed to help practitioners develop a stronger immune response, greater physical and mental resilience, reduced stress levels, and a deeper sense of energy and focus in daily life.
The method has been the subject of multiple scientific studies, several of which have demonstrated that practitioners can consciously influence their autonomic nervous system and immune response — capabilities previously thought to be beyond voluntary control.

Breathing
A specific breathing technique that deliberately changes the body's blood chemistry, creating a controlled stress response that builds tolerance and activates the autonomic nervous system.

Cold Exposure
Gradual, intentional exposure to cold — from cold showers to ice baths — used as a tool for building mental resilience, reducing inflammation, and training the vascular system.

Mindset
The psychological and motivational component. Commitment, focus, and the understanding that the mind and body are far more capable than most people believe — and that belief itself changes what is physiologically possible.

SAFETY INFORMATION
Always practise Wim Hof Method® breathing exercises sitting or lying down in a safe environment. Wim Hof Method® breathing can affect motor control and, in rare cases, lead to loss of consciousness. Never practise while driving, in or near water, or in any place where loss of consciousness could lead to bodily harm. The cold is a powerful force and can be a shock to the body — always build up cold exposure gradually, and always practise with a buddy. Do not practise the Wim Hof Method® during pregnancy or if you have epilepsy. Persons with cardiovascular health issues, or any other serious health conditions, must always consult a medical doctor before starting. Listen to your body. Never force the practice.
Wim Hof Method® Activities

Wim Hof Method® events are ticketed through their official platforms. The Breathing Class is booked via Cal.com with payment at checkout. The Fundamentals Workshop is booked exclusively through wimhofmethod.com — this is required by Innerfire for all Certified Instructor workshops.

This is a natural fit for corporate wellness programmes, team offsites, school initiatives, and retreat programmes. The session is tailored to the group and run in full compliance with official Wim Hof Method® guidelines and safety protocols.
